1874): Barzillai bought the north ends of Lots 1 and 2, Block 86 in
Corinth, Mississippi for $125. [AlC deed 4:5]
1870: Barzillai was a farmer and lived in
Alcorn County Mississippi with his wife and youngest daughter. Also living with
them was 8 year old Molly, 5 year old Mauda and 4 year old Sallie. The value of
his real property was $2,500 and personal property was $700.

1876: Barzillai filed a claim for
$4,766.50 to compensaste him for horses, mules, oxen, hogs, sheep, poultry,
cotton, fencing, gin, produce and provisions taken by Union soldiers during the
