Information:
1900: Olin was farming a rented farm in
Troy Township, Whitley County, Indiana. [census-Ind]
Febuary 21-23, 1907: Olen Vanderford of
Larwill is reported much worse to-day. He has been confined to his home for
some time with lung trouble. (February 21, 1907) Larwill, Ind. Feb. 21 -
Olen Vanderford, who has been confined to his home for a week past with lung
fever, is reported critically ill to-day. Mr. Vanderford is a promising farmer
of Troy Township and is being attended by Dr. Tennent. It is thought he will
not survive the night. (February 22, 1907) Olin Vanderford of Troy Township,
who has been in a serious condition with lung fever, is reported beter to-day.

1910: Olin was farming in Troy Township,
Whitley County, Indiana. [census-Ind]
August 17, 1916: The members of the Troy
M.E. Choir were entertained Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Olin Vanderford
and a royal feast was enjoyed by thirty members. [Fort Wayne News]
April 26, 1917: Olin sued for divorce from
his wife Naomi. He claimed she was abusive at times and taught her children to
disrespect him. [Fort Wayne Sentinal]
October 1, 1917: Mrs. Naomi Vanderford was
granted a divorce Saturday afternoon on her cross-complaint in the divorce suit
of Olin vs Naomi Vanderford. She gets the custody of the children, plus a
monthly maintenance, $325 alimony and one-half the cash value of the farm in

September 12, 1918: According to his World
War I Draft Registration. Olin was farming in Princeton, Kosciusko County,
Indiana for Jacob Stricker. Olin was of medium build with blue eyes and dark
hair. 
1920: Olin and his second wife were farming
her parents Kaleb and Mary Anderson's farm in Troy Township, Whitley County,
Indiana. His widowed uncle Jesse R. Vanderford (4055)
was living with them. His ex-wife Naomi was living nearby with William,
Melvin and Ester. 
1930: Olin and Ettie were farming in Troy
Township, Whitley County, Indiana. His mother in law Mary J. Anderson and a
granddaughter Ireta Coy were living with them. [census-Ind]
