Information:

Myrtle's family moved to Rule, Haskell County, Texas when she was about 15. It was there that she met Bud. [Vittles]

Myrtule and Bud moved back to Bell County with other Vanderfords and then to Mabank in Kaufman County hoping for abundant cotton crops. There they farmed and raised catle. [Vittles]

1930:
Bud and Myrtle were farming in Kaufman County, Texas. [census-Tex]

1944:
Bud sought work in the new defense plant, North American Aviation, in Grand Prairie, Texas. [Vittles]

When the war ended Bud went to work at Gifford Hill-American and retired in 1955. [Vittles]

1971:
Myrtle moved to Canton, Texas. [Vittles]
