1925: Fay was cultivating in the fields in
the early summer, with her baby son in her lap, when a rain came up. She raced
the team to the house, trying to keep her baby from being soaked. Instead she
was soaked and developed pneumonia. [Vittles]
1930: Ray was farming with the children in
Bell County, Texas. Leta was at with her grandparents in Bell County, Texas.
