Information:
Vint was a Director of Northern Counties Bank and the
Rice Growers Association. He was on the board of the Fremont Hospital in Yuba
City and chairman of the water district. [Anita]
September 15, 1918: According to Vint's
World War I Draft Registration Card he was a ranch hand working for his father
near Maxwell, Colusa County, California. He was tall and slender with blue eyes
and brown hair. 
1922: Vint lived on the Truman Ranch with
his brother Carl. [Erva]
1928 to 1934: The three Vanderford
brothers, Otis (6003), who raised rice near Gridley,
Vint (6005), west of Yuba City and Carl (6002), in the Natomas District north of
Sacramento.were fascinated by airplanes. Why
not use them to seed rice?

1930: Vint purchased a ranch near Yuba
City. He raised mostly rice, with some safflower, grain, sugar beets and

1930: Vint was a farmer and they lived on
Bogue Road, Sutter Township, Sutter County, Calfiornia.

Otis (6003) departed the Davis University Airport this
morning in their Stinson to attend the second annual meeting of the Flying
Famers National Association in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

City representatives to the finance conference of the Buttes Area Council of

September 17, 1959: Vint was appointed a
director of Northern Counties Bank. "He is a director of the Rice Growers
Association of California and a member of Yuba City Rotary Club. He is
president of the sutter Extension Water District and is a national
representative, Buttes Area Council of the boy Scouts of America.
