1635:
Samuel arrived from Chesham, England and settled on Almond Creek just south of Richmond and was a "viewer of tobacco" for that area in addition to being a planter of tobacco. [Klebs]

1644:
Sarah and William were the two children of Samuel who survived the Massacre of 1644 by hiding in the woodhox.
