1757:
George and Margaret bought land in Loudoun County, Virginia. [Elton]

1758:
Margaret was ousted from the Quaker Church because they felt she's married 'out of unity' by marrying George who was a Baptist. They sold their land in Loudoun County, Virgina and moved to South Carolina. [Elton]

Around 1761:
George and three of the Margaret's brothers, Thomas, Jesse and William all bought land on or near Frenchmans Creek of Enoree River in Union County, South Carolina [Brenda]

1771:
George was granted 250 acres in the part of South Carolina that was to become Union County. [Elton]

1784:
George helped establish Padgett's Creek Baptist Church at Cross Keys, Union County, South Carolina. [Elton]
