Information:

Thomas came to America with the army of Lord cornwallis and surrendered at Yorktown. He then swore allegiance to america and served with the army to the close of the war. He was mustered out in North Carolina where he settled and died. He owned land and was a blacksmith by trade. [Martin]

September 7, 1801, Stokes County, North Carolina:
Margaret Owens and Benjamin Hunter, administrators of Thomas Owens deceased, were required to "make a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the goods and chattels, rights and credits of the deceased." [Martin]
