Information:

Ezekiel served in the Home Guards. [Lanier]

Ezekiel joined the Navy and was a sailor on the Moszuiot Fleet, Ibex No. 10 on the Mississippi river. He helped capture and destroy the rebel ram ship. [Lanier]

1870:
Ezekiel and his new bride wre farming in grant's Lick Precinct, Campbell County, Kentucky. His mother Harriet was living with them. [census-Ky]

1880:
Ezekiel and his family were farming in the Grant's Lick District of Camplbell County, Kentucky. His sister Electa was living with them. [census-Ky]

Autumn 1886:
Ezekiel and his family left Kentucky by train for Kansas, but stopped in Callaway County, Missouri, where they stayed for 13 years. [Lanier]

April 16, 1900:
The family packed up in two wagons and headed for Oklahoma following their son William who had moved in August 1897. The first night they stayed with their son Warner in Jefferson City, Missouri. The second night near Cherryvale, Missouri brought a really heavy rainstorm and since the wagon sheets were not water proof, Ezekiel rented a house for two weeks. They resumed the journey over muddy road and camped along side of the road. [Lanier]

1900:
Ezekiel and his large family were farming in Harrison Township, Dewey County, Oklahoma. [census-OK]

Ezekiel first filed a claim about 12 miles southwest of Taloga. [Lanier]

1907:
Ezekiel bought his son William's place about 4 1/2 miles south of Taloga. [Lanier]

1910:
Ezekiel, Armilda and the two youngest daughters were farming in Taloga Township, Dewey County, Oklahoma. [census-OK]
