June 15, 1913:
Mario arrived in New York on board the Verona which had sailed from Genoa, Italy on May 28, 1913. He was listed as 17, single, a tailor and able to read and write. Mario had $30 and was going to join his friend, Nicolo Camilli in New York City. He was 5 foot 3 with a dark complexion, fair hair and grey eyes. He was travelling with his brother, Gaetano who was 20, single and also a tailor. Gaetano also had $30 and was going to join his friend, Guiseppe Camilli, in New York City. He was 5 foot 3 1/2 inches with a rosy complexion and black hair and eyes. They were born in Offida, Italy and listed their father Nicolo in Offida as their nearest relative.

1920:
Mario was a tailor and living at 524 Metropolitan Avenue, Brooklyn, New York with his wife and baby.
